摘要
Family education refers to the influence of parents on children's growth and development in the process of family interaction,and it is an important part of the whole educational cause.The differences in the purpose,content and mode of family education between China and the United States are mainly determined by three factors:history,culture,values and social conditions.This paper will make a comparative analysis of the differences and their causes in family education between China and the United States from three aspects:the purpose,content and mode of family education,which will help to eliminate misunderstandings in the process of intercultural communication and provide some enlightenment for family education between China and the United States.
