The new national standard GB/T 38204—2019 Geotechnical engineering instrument—Inclinometers is the extension for SL 362—2006 Instrument for dam monitoring-inclino meter.This paper parses compiled process of the new standard,further comprises the applicable scope and reference file of the new and old standard.And according to the current applicationsituation of inclinometer in our country,it supplements and perfects the application range,instruments types,Index requirements of the inclinometer.The new standard ensures the product quality of the new type inclinometer,and provides reference for the establishment of the standard system and the supervision and inspection of product quality in China.
