Research Progress of Metrnl in Improving Glucose and Lipid Metabolism

糖脂代谢失衡是导致各种代谢性疾病的重要原因,严重影响人类健康。镍纹样蛋白(Metrnl)是一种新型的脂肪因子,在皮下脂肪组织中高表达,并能够有效改善糖脂代谢。在糖代谢中,Metrnl可以促进葡萄糖摄取,改善胰岛素抵抗;在脂代谢中,Metrnl可以影响血脂成分及水平,减少脂肪堆积,促进白色脂肪棕色化。Metrnl在众多代谢性疾病的发生、发展及预后方面均具有重要意义。但目前Metrnl在糖脂代谢相关疾病中的表达水平仍存在争议,而外源性给予重组Metrnl的临床疗效也需进一步研究验证。未来,应进一步明确Metrnl在人体内的作用机制,以为临床治疗糖脂代谢相关疾病提供理论基础。

The imbalance of glucose and lipid metabolism is an important cause of various metabolic diseases,which seriously affects human health.Meteorin-like protein(Metrnl)is a novel adipokine that is highly expressed in subcutaneous adipose tissue and can effectively improve glucose and lipid metabolism.In glucose metabolism,Metrnl can promote glucose uptake and improve insulin resistance.In lipid metabolism,Metrnl can affect lipid composition and level,reduce fat accumulation and induce white adipose browning.Metrnl plays an important role in the occurrence,development and prognosis of many metabolic diseases.However,the expression level of Metrnl in diseases related to glucose and lipid metabolism is still controversial at present,and clinical therapeutic effects of exogenous recombinant Metrnl also needs to be further verified by more studies.In the future,the mechanisms of Metrnl in human body should be further clarified to provide a theoretical basis for the clinical treatment of diseases related to glucose and lipid metabolism.
