Objective To study the efficacy of stellate ganglion block combined with transcranial magnetic stimulation for patients with post-stroke insomnia. Methods A total of 44 post-stroke insomnia patients in Rehabilitation Department admitted in XiGuan Orthopaedic Hospital of Song Xian from June 1,2020 to May 31,2021 were selected in this study.According to the random number table method, they were divided into two groups,20 patients in the control group received stellate ganglion block alone, and 24 patients in the treatment group received stellate ganglion block combined with transcranial magnetic stimulation, both 4 weeks.Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)and polysomnography were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results After 4 weeks of treatment, the PSQI score in the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).Polysomnography also showed better improvement in sleep duration, sleep efficiency, rapid eye movement sleep and non-rapid eye movement sleep stages S_(1-4) compared with the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of stellate ganglion block combined with transcranial magnetic stimulation in the treatment of post-stroke insomnia is better than using stellate ganglion block only, which can more effectively improve the sleep therapy of patients and contribute to the clinical prognosis of patients.
