摘要
黑色素瘤缺乏因子2(AIM2)是PYHIN家族中的一员,它能感知双链DNA(dsDNA)并组装AIM2炎性小体。AIM2炎性小体活化后引发细胞焦亡及白细胞介素(IL)-1β和IL-18释放,从而导致炎症。AIM2炎性小体在动脉粥样硬化斑块、腹主动脉瘤壁中可被激活,并与动脉粥样硬化、腹主动脉瘤的发展密切相关。文章综述了AIM2的结构和功能及其在动脉粥样硬化、腹主动脉瘤中的作用,以期为这些疾病的有效防治提供新的思路。
Absent in melanoma 2(AIM2) is a member of the PYHIN(pyrin and HIN domain-containing protein) family. It senses double-stranded DNA(dsDNA) and assembles the AIM2 inflammasome. Activation of AIM2 inflammasome causes cell pyroptosis as well as the release of interleukin(IL)-1β and IL-18, thereby leading to inflammation. The AIM2 inflammasome can become activated in atherosclerotic plaque and abdominal aortic aneurysm wall, and its activation has close links to the progression of atherosclerosis and abdominal aortic aneurysm. This review will focus on the structure and function of AIM2 and its role in atherosclerosis and abdominal aortic aneurysm.
