摘要
本文探讨《孟子》英译本历时平行语料库的创建和应用,分析《孟子》原文及其译本的总体特征,研究发现:《孟子》各译本在不同程度上受到原文影响,在语篇建构和叙事视角方面与原文共性较强;各译本在语言层面、译本形式、翻译方法等方面既有共性,又有不同,其特征与译者的翻译理念、身份背景、文化语境等息息相关。
The compilation and application of Chinese-English parallel and diachronic corpus of Mencius has been made to analyze the general features of the original text of Mencius and its English versions.It is found that the English versions are influenced by the Chinese version in different degrees,especially in discourse construction and narrative perspective.The English versions share some commons and differences in terms of linguistic level,translation form,and translation method,which is closely related to the translators'translation concept,background,cultural context,etc.Future researches should be conducted based on the translation contents for the sake of achieving more systematic and scientific discoveries.
