清华大学艺术博物馆馆藏连生贵子纹绣品研究

吉祥纹样历史悠久,普遍运用象征性的手法,将祈福纳祥、驱恶辟邪的心愿,借助图形呈现出来。连生贵子纹也称莲生贵子纹,深受大众喜爱。顾名思义,该纹样表达出民众期盼多生儿子的愿望。清华大学艺术博物馆藏连生贵子纹绣品,将古人对于子嗣绵延的追求,凭借童子、莲花与莲叶的组合表达出来。连生贵子纹应用领域极广,除服饰装饰图案外,在年画、剪纸、陶瓷、玉器等艺术品中均可见到。该研究旨在探讨这种深为大众所喜爱的纹饰,其多方来源与含义演变。

Auspicious patterns have a long history.The pattern shows the wishes of receiving happiness and driving away evil.Lian Sheng Gui Zi pattern is one of the traditional auspicious patterns.Kids and lotuses are the main factors arranged in the design.There are a lot of clothes and accessories with the Lian Sheng Gui Zi pattern in Tsinghua University Art Museum.This pattern has been widely applied in the textile,New Year Pictures,cutouts,procelain and jade.The article will discuss the origin of the pattern and its developings.
