阮炜教授为英国爱丁堡大学文学博士,在现当代英语文学、中西文化文明比较和西方古典学研究方面成就斐然。20世纪英国文学作为西方文学和世界文学的重要组成部分,无论是英文系的英美文学教程,还是中文系的外国文学课,都必然会涉及这些内容。就20世纪英国文学的三位重要代表性作家劳伦斯、乔伊斯、康拉德,高照成博士对英国文学专家阮炜教授进行了一次较有深度的专访。

Professor Ruan Wei got his Doctor's Degree in English Literature from Edinburgh University.As an outstanding scholar in contemporary China,he published many articles and works on contemporary English literature,Western Classics,as well as the comparison between Western and Chinese civilizations.The 20^(th)century British literature is an important part of the Western literature and of the world literature.In order to get a better understanding of English literature,Doctor Gao Zhaocheng had an interview with Professor Ruan Wei on seven influential contemporary British writers.In this article,they focused on D.H.Lawrence,James Joyce and Joseph Conrad.
