Against the backdrop of the century-long exploration of Chinese new poetry,this study extensively examines patriotic writing in different periods,grasps the epochal changes in the patriotic writing in new poetry among similar themes,analyzes the mindscapes of Chinese people at different stages,and the specific demands of the times and individuals for the functions of poetry.It explores the complex influence of various factors such as history,era,and individuals on the writing of new po⁃etry,and seeks to demonstrate the inherent poetic impulse and historical mechanism of patriotic writ⁃ing.By analyzing the artistic expressions with similarities and differences in the patriotic theme,exam⁃ining the changes in literary quality,mainstream spirit,aesthetic orientation,and social trends in differ⁃ent periods,we can discover the models and shortcomings of poetry creation in the new century,and provide new triggers for literary creation and research.
