Substation is an important part of power system,its safety management is the key to ensure the stable operation of power system.This paper analyzes the main safety hazards in substation management from the aspects of substation equipment,operation and environmental factors.In view of these safety hazards,the countermeasures of equipment safety prevention,improving staff safety awareness and environmental safety prevention are put forward.The importance of substation safety management and operation is emphasized.By strengthening the substation safety management measures,it can effectively prevent the occurrence of accidents and ensure the stable operation of power system.
