污名权利视域下老年人在线健康信息服务规避行为研究

Research on the Avoidance Behavior of the Elderly in Online Health Information Services from the Perspective of Stigma Power

随着在线健康信息服务的普及,确定老年人这一目标群体的规避因素,可为提高在线健康信息服务覆盖率和解决老年人在线健康信息服务利用不足的问题提供参考。借鉴污名权利理论,结合保护动机理论,探究老年人在线健康信息服务规避行为的内在机理,解释老年人结构化污名、歧视、自我污名意识、刻板印象威胁等对规避行为的影响机制。利用结构方程模型和模糊集定性比较分析法进行影响因素及其组态分析。老年人污名最终会导致老年人在线健康信息服务的规避行为,歧视正向显著影响老年人刻板印象威胁和自我污名意识,刻板印象威胁和自我污名意识直接并通过保护动机间接正向显著影响老年人在线健康信息服务的规避行为。结构化污名、歧视、刻板印象威胁、自我污名意识和保护动机5个变量的4种条件组合能导致老年人在线健康信息服务规避行为。

With the widespread adoption of online health information services,identifying the avoidance factors for the elderly demographic is essential for improving the coverage of these services and addressing the issue of insufficient utilization among the elderly.Drawing on stigma power theory and incorporating protection motivation theory,this study investigates the internal mechanisms underlying the avoidance behavior of the elderly in online health information services and explains how structural stigma,discrimination,selfstigma awareness,and stereotype threat of the elderly affect avoidance behavior.Structural Equation Modeling(SEM)and fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis(fsQCA)are used to analyze the influencing factors and their configurations.The findings indicate that stigma ultimately leads to the avoidance behavior of the elderly in online health information services.Discrimination has a significantly positive effect on stereotype threat and self-stigma awareness of the elderly.Both stereotype threat and self-stigma awareness directly and indirectly,through protection motivation,positively and significantly influence the avoidance behavior of the elderly in online health information services.Four conditional combinations of the five variables—structural stigma,discrimination,stereotype threat,self-stigma awareness,and protection motivation—can result in avoidance behavior towards online health information services among the elderly.
