From September 8 to 9,Singapore's Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan made an official visit to Beijing.It was the first visit by a Singaporean Foreign Minister to China since new Prime Minister Lawrence Wong succeeded Lee Hsien Loong.It was also the inaugural visit under an annual exchange mechanism between the ruling parties of both countries,which has been groundbreaking and exerted a positive influence on China-Singapore cooperation and regional development.
