摘要
发酵工程课程具有知识性强且基础知识结构稳定,涉及领域广泛,内容更新发展及时等特点,加之又是一门实践性较强的学科,多数学生仅可基本掌握发酵工程的微生物原理和常见发酵产品的发酵与精制的基本工艺,而回归实际生产过程时却无法应用相关工程知识并综合运用学科交叉及前沿知识来解决实际问题,最终导致学生对本课程整体掌握程度不理想。为解决该问题,本文选取2019级和2020级生物技术专业两个大班的学生为研究对象,对照组为2019级63人,实验组为2020级54人,分别采用传统教学法和“大班教学、小班辅导”互动式教学模式。对比两个班的平时成绩、期末成绩和综合测评等内容,总结评价“大班教学、小班辅导”教学模式在发酵工程课程中的应用实践效果。实践表明,实验组学生各项考核指标,尤其是综合测评成绩显著高于对照组,说明“大班教学、小班辅导”教学模式较为适合发酵工程类实践性比较强的课程教学,可有效缓解传统大班课堂带来的问题,对培养学生的创新能力和实践能力发挥积极作用。另外,本文针对目前“大班教学、小班辅导”面临的挑战,提出了一些改进建议,为进一步完善该教学模式在实践类教学中的应用,有效提高教学质量提供参考。
The course of Fermentation Engineering have the characteristic of full of knowledge points and stable basic knowledge structure,covering a wide range,rapid development of knowledge update and highly practical.Thus,most students can only master the basic microbial principle of fermentation engineering and the basic process of fermentation and refining of common fermentation products,but when they return to the practical production process,they cannot master the relevant engineering knowledge and comprehensively apply interdisciplinary and frontier knowledge to solve practical problems,which ultimately leads to the unsatisfactory overall grasp of this course.To solve this problem,two large classes of 2019 and 2020 students majoring in biotechnology were selected as the research objects.The control group consisted of 63 students from class 2019 and the experimental group of 54 students from class 2020.The traditional teaching method and the interactive teaching method of"large class teaching and small class tutoring"were adopted respectively.By comparing the usual scores,final scores and comprehensive evaluation of the two classes,this study summarized and evaluated the practical effect of the teaching mode of"large class teaching and small class counseling"in the course of Fermentation Engineering.The practical results showed that the assessment of the experimental group is significantly higher than that of the control group,especially the comprehensive evaluation scores,indicating that the teaching mode of"large class teaching and small class counseling"is more suitable for the practical course teaching,which can effectively alleviate the problems caused by the traditional large class teaching,and play a positive role in cultivating students'innovation ability and practical ability.In addition,in view of the challenges faced by"large class teaching and small class counseling",some suggestions were provided for further improvement,which makes a solid foundation for further improving the application of this teaching mode in practical teaching and effectively improving the teaching quality.
