Morphological studies of the plants, flowers and seeds of Lolium perenne and systematical comparisons and analysis of cellularity in aleurone layers were conducted. Whether the seed of L. perenne contained a similar parasitic fungus that could cause L. perenne to produce TemulineC7H12N2O was also discussed. It provided a scientific basis for weed inspection and quarantine at the port, and introduction and production of herbages.
