图式阅读理论认为,阅读是读者与作者进行思维交流的过程。因此,教师在大学英语阅读课堂上恰当地运用图式阅读理论对学生的阅读进行指导,对学生建立丰富的图式有极大的帮助,图式包括语言图式、内容图式和修辞图式,由此便能较大地提高学生英语阅读理解能力。

The Schema reading theory thinks that reading is the communicating process between readers and authors. As a result, teachers take advantage of schema theory to guide students to read and make students construct reading schema( linguistic sche-ma; content schema and rhetorical schema)in English classroom teaching. Thus improve students ’ability of reading comprehen-sion.
