摘要
当前光传送网中WDM技术主要在光纤的C波段使用,随着以IP业务为主的数据业务对传输带宽需求的进一步增长,更长波长的L波段的开发和应用越来越成为人们关注的重点。本文深入分析了L波段应用的关键技术,主要包括了码型技术、光纤的选择、光放大技术以及系统的色散补偿和PMD补偿技术,然后给出了当前商用WDM市场上包含L波段应用的1.6Tbit/s系统的产品特点,最后结合前面的技术及产品分析,针对中国业务发展的趋势和光传送骨干网的实际情况,提出了L波段应用的建议。
Fiber C-band has been deployed by means of wavelength division multiplexing(WDM)technology in the current transport net-works.As the data traffic relying mainly on IP traffic being right to the further growth for transmission bandwidth demand,the development and application of L-band in fiber becomes the focal point that people pay close attention to more and more.The key technologies for L-band application are analyzed deeply here,which mainly include the modulation format,the selection of fiber types,the optical amplifica-tion technology,the chromatic dispersion compensation and polarization maintained dispersion(PMD)compensation technology.The product characteristics of1.6Tbit/s system in which L-band is used in the current vendor markets are investigated.Finally,combined the previous analysis for the key technologies and the systems,and simultaneously considered the trend of the traffic and the actual conditions of our country transmission backbone network,the suggestions of L-band application are presented.
