Rice kernel chalkiness is an impor-tant quality character.Being the un-transparent portions in grain en-dosperm,chalkiness iS always mea-sured by some subjective eye-judgingmethods domestically and interna-tionally.Results measured by suchmethods aye subjective,inaccurate,and unstable.This research is in-
