Objective To explore the diagnostic value of transluminal and transabdominal ultrasonography in the staging of bladder cancer.Method A total of 78 patients diagnosed with bladder cancer by surgical pathology at Nanjing Jiangning Hospital from January 2015 to May 2019 were included in this study.Patients examined by transluminal ultrasonography were included in the observation group and patients diagnosed by transabdominal ultrasonography were included in the control group with 39 patients in each group. The diagnostic results of the two groups were compared with those of the pathological examination. The diagnostic accuracy was compared between transluminal and transabdominal ultrasonography for bladder cancer.Result The diagnostic accuracy for stage T4 bladder cancer was 100.0%.However,diagnostic accuracy in in the observation group was significantly higher than in the control group for stage T1,T2 and T3 bladder cancer(P<0.05).Conclusion In the clinical diagnosis of bladder cancer, transluminal ultrasound can clearly show the depth of infiltration in the bladder wall. Its application effectiveness is better than transabdominal ultrasonography, which can provide reference for early diagnosis and differential diagnosis of bladder cancer, and is worthy of clinical popularization.
