In many kinds of English tests, the portion of reading comprehension constitutes the majority. The answers in this section will directly influence the results of the examinee, and even sometimes it can decide whether one will pass or fail the exam. The paper is intended to present how to improve reading skills in English tests. It first analyses the incorrect reading habits and then introduces correct methods as well as practical techniques, which are illustrated by a number of examples. It's aimed to cultivate the examinee's reading skills effectively.
