摘要
《泰晤士高等教育》的THE大学排名与上海交通大学的ARWU大学排名是世界公认的权威性的大学排行榜。通过实证比较研究,发现两大排行榜的数据同样具有很好的稳定性,但是在评价方法、评价指标体系、排名结果等方面存在不少差异。这些差异的深层次原因是两大排行榜对高校质量的评价理念的不同。然而,两者差异的存在也有其积极的意义,能够为高校提升质量提供更多方面的参考。
The British Times Higher Education World University Rankings and Academic Ranking of World Universities released by Shanghai Jiao Tong University are considered to be the world recognized the authority of university rankings.Through comparative research of real case,both of the two rankings have good stability,but they are very different in assessment methods,assessment index system and the ranking results and so on.The deep-seated reasons for these differences of college quality evaluation concept is different,However,this difference also has positive significance that it can provide universities a multiangle references in enhancing their education quality.
