我与陶庆教授结识已久。他长期致力于新政治人类学研究,可以说是新政治人类学的开拓者。他提出了建立新政治人类学的主张;主办《政治人类学评论》刊物;将政治人类学与其他学科相嫁接,拓展了新政治人类学的领域;通过课堂和现代媒体进行教学,传播新政治人类学的知识。以一人之力,将新政治人类学这门新兴学科做得有声有色,当下的影响愈来愈广,已经成为上海师范大学的一个学术品牌。

*I have known Professor Tao Qing for a long time.Professor Tao Qing,regarded as a pioneer of Neo-Political Anthropology,has devoted himself into studying Neo-Political Anthropology.He proposes the establishment of Neo-Political Anthropology,publishes the Political Anthropology Review,expands the field of Neo-Political Anthropology combined with other disciplines and imparts the knowledge of Neo-Political Anthropology through the classroom and modern media.On his own,Professor Tao Qing has done well in developing a new discipline—Neo-Political Anthropology,which has become an academic brand of Shanghai Normal University.
