泰语双音节声调感知研究

The Study of Tonal Perception of Disyllable in Thai

本研究以泰语/k^(h)a:31. kaj31/(泰式鸡肉姜汤)和/k^(h)a:314. kaj31/(鸡爪)对立组为例,通过改变前音节的基频合成语音连续体,后音节作为条件与前音节进行搭配,研究了泰国被试对泰语双音节声调的感知情况。根据声学分析结果,前音节调类不同,使后音节的起点高度不同,即/k^(h)a:31. kaj31/的后音节起点高度较低,而/k^(h)a:314. kaj31/的后音节起点高度较高。因此,本文根据后音节声调起点高度,将后音节分为"低"和"高"条件。感知实验结果显示,后音节条件为"低"时,从/k^(h)a:31. kaj31/合成到/k^(h)a:314. kaj31/的连续统感知结果出现明显的识别边界,而/k^(h)a:314. kaj31/合成到/k^(h)a:31. kaj31/时识别边界位置较靠后;后音节条件为"高"时,无论合成母本为/k^(h)a:31. kaj31/还是/k^(h)a:314. kaj31/,被试均倾向于识别为/k^(h)a:314. kaj31/,没有出现识别边界。区分实验结果显示,在任何条件下都没有出现明显波峰。研究结果证明,前音节声调的感知受到了后音节起点高度的影响,且具有音位学意义。

This study aims to use two Thai words/k^(h)a:31.kaj31/(Thai chicken coconut soup/Tom k^(h)a Gai)and/k^(h)a:314.kaj31/(chicken thigh),to study the perception of disyllabic tone of native Thai speakers,by changing F0 of first syllables,while second syllables are divided to"low"and"high"conditions according to the height of the onset of tone,which were shown in acoustic analysis result that the second syllable of/k^(h)a:31.kaj31/was relatively lower and the second syllable of/k^(h)a:314.kaj31/was higher.The results of identification tests showed that when second syllables were in"low"condition,the continuum of/k^(h)a:31.kaj31/to/k^(h)a:314.kaj31/showed significant identification boundary,while the position of identification boundary of the continuum of/k^(h)a:314.kaj31/to/k^(h)a:31.kaj31/was relatively backward,and when the second syllables were in"high"condition,the subjects tended to recognize them as/k^(h)a:314.kaj31/,and there was no identification boundary could be observed.In addition,there was no significant peak existed across the conditions in discrimination tests.The results have proved that the perception of tone of first syllable is influenced by the height of the onset of tone of second syllable,which is phonemically significant.
