Advanced benchmarking is an important logical prerequisite for the optimization of the layout structure of Shenzhen’s higher education under the background of the"dual districts"construction.Through the comparison of the"correlation coefficient"between geographic space,population size,economic level,industrial structure and regional higher education quantity structure,hierarchical structure,and professional structure,to show the structural gap of higher education layout between Shenzhen,Hong Kong,Shanghai and other cities.In this way,it can provide reference and enlightenment on the dual dimensions of"quantity"and"quality"for us to continue to optimize the layout structure of Shenzhen’s higher education.
