知行并进 守正创新——谈新发疫病对温病学学科发展的启示

Learning by doing,innovating by inheriting:Implications of COVID-19to the development of the discipline of Warm Diseases

温病学是研究中医药治疗传染病感染病的主干学科,也是中医药抗击新发传染病主要参考依据。根据2019年12月以来湖北省武汉市出现新型冠状病毒感染肺炎患者的临床报道,对该病病名、病因、病机、病位、传变等内容作了阶段总结,其疾病认识结果可以是目前高等中医药院校《温病学》教材的补充,从而提出温病学的学习和研究要注意夯实古籍温病学资料的掌握,以事实为依据客观而理性地学习,并树立为大众解除病患的仁爱之心和使命感。

Warm Diseases is the major discipline of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)for the study of treatment of epidemic diseases,and it is now the main TCM reference to combat COVID-19.According to the clinical reports of COVID-19 infected patients in Wuhan,Hubei province since December 2019,the author reviewed the name,etiology,pathogenesis,location and transmission of thisvirus at different stages.The findings and analysis can complement the content of Warm Diseases in TCM textbooks.The author also put forward the following suggestions in the learning and researching of Warm Diseases:understanding classics of Warm Diseases to lay a solid foundation of TCM knowledge;observing epidemic diseases objectively and gathering information based on facts;having a sense a social responsibility and fullfilling the doctor’s mission to spare patients from sickness and pain with benevolence.
