A Review of the Party’s Experience in Leading the Seminars on Party History in the Yan’an Period

延安时期,中共中央在领导党史研讨时采取既追求史学研讨求真宗旨又兼顾现实政治需要务实政策,是党史研讨顺利推进的前提条件。毛泽东、刘少奇、任弼时等中共中央核心领导人在推动党史研讨向纵深发展过程中的推动作用,是党史研讨纵深展开的关键因素。中共中央采取稳健研讨方式确定高级干部作为党史研讨重点,重视党史研讨组织建设和研究方式创新,是党史研讨稳妥展开的制度保证。延安时期,中共中央领导党史研讨从本质上讲就是以毛泽东为核心的中共中央通过推动全党对中共党史重新学习和研究,以新话语体系来构建党史叙述,从而掌握中共中央话语权和意识形态解释权,实现全党在毛泽东思想基础上新的政治认同。实践证明,中共中央实现了这一战略重要目标。这对中共党史和中国革命史产生了深远影响。

During the Yan’an period,when conducting seminars on Party history,the CPC Central Committee took a pragmatic seeking-truth approach to academic research while adopting a practical policy by taking into account the political needs of the times,which was the prerequisite for the smooth conduct of the seminars on Party history.Mao Zedong,Liu Shaoqi,Ren Bishi and other core leaders of the CPC Central Committee played a key role in promoting the research to develop into an in-depth one.Adopting a prudent approach,the Central Committee conducted the seminars mainly among senior officials,and attached importance to organizational construction for Party history research and innovation in research methods,which provided institutional guarantee for the steady development of Party history discussion.The seminars were,in essence,a review and study of the Party history conducted within the whole Party,through which the Party Central Committee,with Mao Zedong as the core,constructed the narratives of its history with a new discourse system,grasped the discourse right and the power of ideological interpretation,and reached a new political consensus based on Mao Zedong Thought in the whole Party.Practice has proved that the CPC Central Committee achieved this important strategic goal,which had made a profound impact on the Party history and the Chinese revolution as well.
