On the Extensive United Front of the Nanjing Bureau of the CPC Central Committee

中共中央南京局于1946年5月成立,前后共存在10个月,时间虽短,但它却出色地完成了统战使命。在庞大而健全的组织体系下,南京局领导开展了对第三方面、青年学生、国民党军事将领以及国际和平力量的统战工作。注重运用宣传舆论、纪念活动、联谊交友等统战形式,灵活掌握公开与隐蔽、团结与斗争、海内与海外相结合的统战技巧。构建了最广泛的人民民主统一战线,它为1947年第二条战线的形成及解放战争由防御转入进攻奠定了民心基础。南京局的大统战格局诠释了中共"统一战线"这一法宝的精深之道。

The Nanjing Bureau of the CPC Central Committee was established in May,1946 and was dismissed in March of the following year as its staff were forced to return to Yan’an.Although it was active only in a short period of 10 month,it had successfully completed its mission of united front.Under an extensive and sound organizational system,the Nanjing Bureau carried out the work of united front on the third party,young students,Kuomintang cmmanders and officers,as well as international peace forces.Making full use of various means of united front,including public opinions,commemorative events,social interactions,fellowship and friendship activities,it united and struggled both open and undercover,domestic and overseas.It had developed a democratic people’s united front with extensive participation of all parties,which laid the foundation of the people’s support for the formation of the second battlefront in 1947 and for the transition of the Revolutionary War from defense to offensive.Its extensive united front exemplifies that the united front is an important way to ensure the success of the Party’s cause.
