During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression,the Communist Party of China resolutely assumed the historical mission of rejuvenating the Chinese nation,held high the banner of the antiJapanese national united front,established and acted on the political line of an all-out war of resistance and the strategy of a protracted war of resistance,and created some model anti-Japanese democratic base areas.With outstanding political leadership,it guided the direction of China’s War of Resistance,brought together a mighty force of the Chinese people,propped up the hope of the Chinese nation’s salvation,and became the mainstay of the Chinese people’s war of resistance against Japanese aggression.
