论新时代我国发展人类学学科的意义

On the Significance of Developing Anthropology in China in the New Era

人类学是当今世界强国和世界强校普遍设立的一门学科。人类学自近代传入中国以来已逾百年,然而由于众所周知的历史原因,学科发展几起几落,至今还未在官方规定的学科体系内明确自身的地位。这一问题已成为人类学发展的一个巨大阻碍[1]。中国作为和平崛起的大国,在迈向强国的进程中,在与其他国家和民族交往、交流的过程中,这一问题也在某种程度上限制了对他者社会文化生活的进一步了解。为此,将人类学作为一级学科进行建设,已经成为中国高校加强基础性人文社会科学教育迫切需要做的一件事情,从而促进中国日益强大,并在政治、经济、社会和人文关系网络进一步向世界体系深处延伸。

Anthropology as a discipline is included by most top schools in the world.It has been more than a hundred years since it was introduced into China in modern times.However,due to historical reasons,the development of this discipline has suffered from several ups and downs,thus it is yet to be clearly defined in the official discipline system.It has become a great obstacle for the development of anthropology,and to a certain extent,it might have constrained China’s step in peaceful rise and retarded the understanding towards others’society and culture in the process of communication with other countries and ethnic groups.Therefore,the construction of anthropology as a first-tier discipline has been an urgent issue to strengthen basic humanities and social science education for Chinese universities.This article will discuss the significance of developing the discipline of anthropology in the new era.
