Three-dimensional Consolidation of the Consciousness of the Chinese National Community

铸牢中华民族共同体意识需要从历史传统、语言文化、政治制度三个维度着手。中国的历史因各民族共同书写而丰富多彩,汉族的历史不全等于中华民族的历史,少数民族的历史不能脱离中华民族的历史。我们的语言文化因各族人民共同创造而光辉灿烂,从汉藏语系的多声调语言,到阿尔泰语系的元音和谐语言,从"汉字圈"到方块壮字,从半坡遗址到河姆渡遗址,从红山文化到良渚文化,中国的语言文化自古呈现出满天星斗的壮丽景色和多元归一的大趋势。中国处理民族事务的政治制度因坚持马克思主义民族理论与本土实际相结合,在实践中行之有效,我国各民族在中国共产党的领导下建立了平等联合的共和国。从名称上,民族不分大小、不分"先进"与"落后",一律称为"民族";少数民族聚居区实行民族区域自治制度。大小民族要互相认同,并且共同认同中华民族,其中民心相通、互守尊严是铸牢共同体意识的关键。同时,为了铸牢中华民族共同体意识,伦理担当和美学感召不能缺场,意志推动也很重要,要保持希望的开放性,把它持续投射到新时代中华民族的创新认同之上,转化为主动进取、奋勇前行、人心向善、爱家爱国的能动性,所有这些都是民心相通、互守尊严和铸牢中华民族共同体意识的必要组成部分。

To cultivate the consciousness of the Chinese national community needs to start from three dimensions:historical tradition,language and culture,and political system.The history of the Chinese nation is rich and long because of the diversity of writing of different ethnic groups.The history of the Han ethnic group is not completely equal to the history of the Chinese nation,and the history of the ethnic minorities can not be separated from the history of the Chinese nation.Our language and culture are creation of joint efforts of the people of all ethnic groups,with diversity ranging from the multi-tone language of the Chinese-Tibetan language family to the vowel harmonious language of the Altai language family,from the"Chinese language circle"to the square character of Zhuang ethnic group,from the Banpo site to the Hemudu site,from Hongshan culture to Liangzhu culture.The Chinese language and culture has shown diversity and the general trend of pluralistic unification.China’s political system for handling ethnic affairs is effective because of the combination of Marxist ethnic theory and local reality.China has not experienced ethnic separation,but established an equal and united republic under the leadership of the central government.Large and small ethnic groups both recognize each other as well as the Chinese nation as a whole,in which the mutual understanding and respect are the key to shaping the consciousness of the community.At the same time,in order to make a good sense of the community of the Chinese nation,ethical responsibility and aesthetic are indispensable.It is also very important to maintain an open mind,to continuously promote the recognition of a Chinese nation from an innovative perspective in the new era,and to transform this into the entrepreneurship,loving both family and the country.All these are necessary components of the consciousness of the Chinese nation community.
