Ma Yifu’s Qunjing tonglei presents a system that differs from the classic system of Confucianism of the Song and Ming periods,which is centered on the traditional"four books".It provides an important clue for us to understanding both the uniqueness of Ma Yifu’s thought relative to Song-Ming Confucianism and its relationship with it.It also helps researchers go beyond the traditional paradigm focused on thinkers and schools,returning to the vast theoretical field centered on the Six Classics and re-articulating the original form of the Confucianism of the Song and Ming period in its historical context,thereby helping grasp its rich and varied ideological connotations,its consistent significance,its internal mechanisms,and its unique path combining ideological inheritance and theoretical innovation.
