An Analysis of Fan Zhongyan’s Thought of Governing the Country Originated from Yi-ology

易学是范仲淹思想的根基。范仲淹解《易》重“阐明儒理”,开宋学风气之先。范仲淹思想又不仅局限于《易》,而是融儒家德性伦理、修齐治平理想以及事功之学为一体,事功之学主要体现于其政治改革思想。借助于对易学、传统儒家德性理论及修齐治平理想的综合考察,范仲淹构建了以易道为体、以经制为用的思想模式。通过易道之“通”而顺时设教,改变风气;经由易道之“变”而积极有为,革新政治,进而实现儒家经世济民的理想。

Yi-ology is the foundation of Fan Zhongyan’s thought;Zhongyan’s interpretation of ZhouYi emphasized clarification of Confucianism,which was the beginning of the ethos of Confucianism in the Song Dynasty.Fan Zhongyan's thought is not limited to the ZhouYi but integrates Confucian morality and ethics,the ideal of governing the world through self-cultivation,and the study of utilitarianism,which is mainly reflected in his political reform thoughts.With the help of a comprehensive study of Yi-ology,traditional Confucian virtue theory,and the ideal of governing the world through self-cultivation,Fan Zhongyan constructed an ideological logic with Yi-ology as its body and political governance as its purpose.Establishes educational policies in line with the current situation and changes the social atmosphere through the communication policy of Yi-ology;Take active actions to innovate social politics through the change principle of Yiology.And then realize the ideal of Confucianism to benefit the people in the world.
