Britain Absorbed Chinese Tea Culture and its Influence in Early Modern Period

近代早期是英国文化初步形成的历史时期。茶文化是英国社会发展的独特组成部分,茶具在其中扮演着重要的角色。茶具伴随着茶叶从中国传入英国,最初的茶具是一种贵重商品,成为贵族和富人精神生活的组成部分。随着饮茶仪式的出现,茶文化对改善和提高英国女性的地位起到了积极作用,这反过来又促进了茶具的审美女性化。工业革命时期,人们对茶具的需求扩大,有力地刺激了英国陶瓷制造业的发展。考察茶具在英国发展的历史,选取文化交往的不同角度,分析茶具对英国文化生活的影响。

The early modern period is the historical period in which British culture was initially formed.Tea culture is a unique part of British social development,in which tea wares play an important role.Tea ware was introduced into Britain from China along with tea,and the original tea ware was a valuable commodity and became an integral part of the spiritual life of the nobility and the rich.With the emergence of tea drinking rituals,tea culture played a positive role in improving the status of British women,which in turn promoted the aesthetic feminization of tea wares.During the Industrial Revolution,people's demand for tea wares expanded,which strongly stimulated the development of British ceramic manufacturing industry.This paper examines the history of the development of tea wares in Britain and analyzes the influence of tea wares on British cultural life from different angles of cultural exchanges.
