建设国家中心城市离不开鲜明的城市主题文化。应在尊重自然环境、历史文化、地域特色和现实发展基础上,提炼出特质资源,进而确立城市的主题文化。建议将"天地之中、华夏之源、大河之魂"作为郑州的城市主题文化,并围绕此主题展开国家中心城市的文化建设,如加强城市主题文化功能的培育,构建城市主题文化视觉符号和城市主题文化传播体系等。城市主题文化建设是一个复杂而系统的工程,需要政府部门、全体市民、市域外关心郑州的各方人士共同努力。

The construction of national central city is inseparable from distinct urban theme culture.Peculiar resources should be extracted to establish the theme culture of the city on the basis of respecting the natural environment,historical culture,regional characteristics and realistic development.It is suggested that"middle of the country,source of China and soul of the river"should be taken as the urban theme culture of Zhengzhou.The cultural construction of the national central city should be carried out around this theme,such as strengthening the cultivation of urban theme cultural functions,constructing visual symbols of urban theme culture and communication system of urban theme culture.The construction of urban theme culture is a complicated and systematic project,which requires the joint efforts of the government department,all the citizens and the people concerned about Zhengzhou outside the city.
