互联网金融对商业银行绩效的影响及对策——基于2014—2022年国内29家商业银行年度财务报告数据

Impact of Internet Finance on the Performance of Commercial Banks and Countermeasures:Analysis based on the Annual Financial Report Aata of 29 Domestic Commercial Banks from 2014 to 2022

互联网金融科技公司迅速崛起所带来的外部竞争,给银行业绩效带来一定影响。基于2014—2022年国内29家商业银行的财务数据,展开互联网金融的发展对银行绩效影响的研究。研究显示,互联网金融的发展降低了银行业的绩效。异质性分析显示,互联网金融的发展对国有商业银行的负面影响大于对股份制银行及城商行的负面影响,对规模较小商业银行的负面影响大于对规模较大商业银行的负面影响,对总部位于中西部地区银行的负面影响弱于总部位于东部地区银行的负面影响。对影响趋势的分析发现,随着互联网金融的发展,其对银行绩效的负面影响在不断加强。上述结论对于银行业积极推进互联网金融业务、拓宽经营领域具有重要的参考意义。

The rapid rise of internet financial technology companies has brought external competition,which has had a certain impact on the operational performance of the banking industry.This paper is based on the financial data of 29 listed commercial banks from 2014 to 2022,and conducts a study on the impact of internet finance development on bank performance.The research shows that the development of internet financial business has lowered the operational performance of the banking industry.Heterogeneity analysis demonstrates that the negative impact of Internet finance on state-owned commercial banks is greater than the joint-stock commercial banks,and is greater on smaller commercial banks than on larger ones.The negative impact on banks headquartered in the central and western regions is weaker than the banks headquartered in the eastern regions.Further analysis of impact trends reveals that with the development of Internet finance,its negative impact on bank performance is strengthening.This study has important reference significance for the banking industry to actively promote internet finance business and expand their operational scope.
