Influence of Industrial Structure Optimization on High-quality Economic Development: An Empirical Study of Zhejiang

构筑新发展格局,实现经济高质量发展已成为浙江未来经济发展的关键。由产业结构优化(主要包括结构高级化和结构调整)所促进的经济增长是经济高质量发展的一条重要路径。文章以浙江省73个县(市)2010—2019年的经济数据为样本,借助产业结构合理化、产业结构高级化和三次产业结构等指标,运用OLS回归模型研究产业结构优化与经济高质量发展的关系。研究发现:产业结构高级化显著促进浙江的经济增长;第三产业对经济增长的作用较为明显且稳定;在第三产业中,生产性服务业对第三产业产值增长起到引擎作用,其中,批发和零售业及金融业对生产性服务业经济增长的拉动作用最为显著。因此,未来浙江经济的发展应在继续做强制造业的基础上,大力发展生产性服务业。

Building a new development pattern and achieving high-quality economic development have become the key to Zhejiang’s future economic development.Economic growth promoted by industrial structure optimization(mainly including structural advancement and structural adjustment)is an important path for high-quality economic development.This paper uses economic data of 73 counties(cities)in Zhejiang from 2010 to 2019 as samples and adopts OLS regression model to study the relationship between industrial structure optimization and high-quality economic development,with the help of indicators such as industrial structure rationalization and advancement,and tertiary industrial structure.The research shows that:(1)the advanced industrial structure significantly promotes Zhejiang’s economic growth;(2)tertiary industry plays a obvious and stable role in economic growth;(3)in the tertiary industry,the productive service industry plays an engine role in the growth of the output value of the tertiary industry,while the wholesale and retail industry and the financial industry have the most significant role in stimulating its economic growth.Therefore,the economic development of Zhejiang in the future should be based on continuing to strengthen the manufacturing industry and vigorously develop the productive service industry.
