南宋淳熙年间(1174—1189)的一天清晨,寺院头陀沿街报晓的木鱼声唤醒了租住在临安城内西北保和坊的黄如意和他的父母亲。保和坊,俗称“砖街巷”,又因为坊内开着许多售卖泥孩儿的商铺,也被老百姓叫作“孩儿巷”。今日是寒食节的第三天,也就是清明节。寒食期间,临安百姓禁烟火、吃冷食,家家户户都要在门窗和屋檐上插柳条,即使是小坊幽曲,也是青青可爱。有的人家还会将一种嵌有枣的燕形面食——子推燕,串在柳条上,以纪念介子推。不论官民,家里如有到了及笄之年的女儿,大多在这天束发插笄,行成人礼。
In the early morning of a day in Chunxi period of the Southern Song Dynasty,the morning ring of the wooden fish knocked by the monk awakened Huang Ruyi and his parents living in the Baohe Lane in the northwest of Lin’an City.It was the third day of the Hanshi Festival(also called the Qingming Festival)that only cold food was served.Huang Ruyi didn’t follow his parents to pay respect to the dead but ran to the West Lake to attend a blind date.After seeing the girl off,Huang Ruyi came to Fengyu Gate to join in a Cuju game.
