摘要
白墙、灰砖、黛瓦,金色的五星和红底的标语,两侧是鲜艳的党旗和国旗雕塑,一幅横平竖直而稳当构图的大型作品——《文化礼堂》随即闯入视线。不同于无法反映细节和局部的小尺幅作品,当普通的被摄对象被通过大画幅来呈现时,作品的含义便在一个个疑问中显得暧昧不清:为什么要拍文化礼堂?这个文化礼堂有什么特别之处?这么普通的场景为什么要用这么大的尺寸来展现?越是困惑,越是好奇,意义生发的脚步便走得更远。
There is a sharp reality hidden under the implicit appearance of Zhao Gang’s contemporary photographic works.Through largesize and high-resolution works,he encodes the reality as well as the essence.Those works give no answer to us but show the entrance leading to the unknown,which is the charm of exploring the contemporary photography.This article attempts to reveal part of Zhao Gang’s exploration of the contemporary content through the three dimensions including leading to the scene,to the inner center and to the thought.
