摘要
嵩溪村位于金华浦江县东北部的鸡冠岩麓,周围山体的石灰石产量丰富,当地人称之为"乌金",村民在渔樵耕读之外多以开采和烧制石灰为生。这儿产的石灰以优质闻名县内外,用作肥田增产。每到夏秋之交,客商络绎不绝,俗称为"夏灰市"。嵩溪建村1000多年来有徐、邵、柳、王、褚、潘、马等多个姓氏的家族在此定居。
Songxi Village, situated at the foot of the Jiguanyan Mountain in the northeast of Pujiang County, is rich in limestone, which is called "black gold" by the local people. Villagers mainly live on exploiting and firing lime. Ancient buildings here are densely distributed and scattered. Local people are good at calligraphy and painting and talent persons are easy to find. "Songxi Poetry Society", set up by Xu Jingchen in the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty, has been passed on for several generations.
