The Historical and Artistic Merit of the Opera“Red Boat”

为隆重庆祝中国共产党成立100周年,由中共浙江省委宣传部、浙江省文化和旅游厅、嘉兴市委、嘉兴市人民政府共同出品,浙江演艺集团(浙江歌舞剧院)、浙江交响乐团、浙江音乐学院、嘉兴市委宣传部、嘉兴市文化广电旅游局联合制作演出的歌剧《红船》,于4月1日举行了首场演出。

To celebrate the 100 th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China,the opera"Red Boat",which has taken four years’painstaking effort of 400 people,was first performed on April 1.The opera,listed in the"2019 Chinese National Opera Inheritance and Development Project",was praised for both its thrilling historical appeal and magnificent epic charm.The success of"Red Boat"is the reflection of the strength of Zhejiang’s vocal music as well as the embodiment of Zhejiang musicians’social responsibilities.
