墨彩华章 和平使者——张书旂绘画艺术简述

提到张书旂,便让人想起他的名作《百鸽图》。这幅以“和平”为主题的花鸟画巨制,是张书旂在1939年为了加强全世界人民的反法西斯斗争的意志、保卫世界和平而创作的,题名为“世界和平的信使”,赠送给当时的美国总统罗斯福,祝贺罗斯福第三次连任总统,现珍藏于美国海德公园罗斯福图书馆。由此,鸽子成了张书旂的艺术代言,张书旂化鸽子为精神的使者,一时传遍南北,名声大噪。《百鸽图》的意义也远远超出了艺术的范畴,为民族抗战事业和世界和平作出了贡献,同时也增添了张书旂艺术人生的传奇和辉煌。

Zhang Shuqi(1900-1957) is a famous modern master of the bird-and-flower painting. In 1929, Xu Beihong invited him to be a professor of Nanjing Central University(now Nanjing University). Xu Beihong, Liu Zigu and Zhang Shuqi are then called the "Three Masters of Jinling". 2020 marks the 120 th anniversary of the birth of both Zhang Shuqi and another Pujiang artist—Wu Fuzhi. Zhejiang Art Museum will hold related exhibitions so as to commemorate their extraordinary painting achievements and legendary art life.
