口腔健康是全身健康的基础,口腔健康水平显著影响老年人的全身健康及生活质量。刘洪臣提出了老年人口腔健康应遵循的10项指标,即1.牙齿清洁;2.无龋洞;3.无疼痛感;4.牙齿和牙龈颜色正常;5.无出血现象;6.牙齿排列整齐;7.不塞牙;8.无缺牙;9.咬合舒适;10.无口臭,明确指出无缺牙应作为该指标的重要组成之一。老年人牙齿缺失的最主要原因为龋病和牙周病。牙齿缺失带来诸多危害,包括影响面容、咀嚼和发音功能,导致颞下颌关节和消化系统受损,甚至引发多种疾病。所以老年人应注重口腔保健,保持良好的口腔卫生习惯,定期检查,保持完整牙列,避免缺牙。老年人应提升对缺牙问题的认识,增强口腔健康意识,注重口腔健康,才能更好地保障身体健康,提高生命质量。
