Objective To analyze the effect of unprotected perineal delivery in reducing perineal laceration and reducing the rate of perineal incision. Methods A total of 144 women who were delivered in the obstetrics department of Luoding People’s Hospital from August 2018 to October 2019 were selected as the research objects, and they were randomly divided into observation group 72 cases and control group 72 cases. The observation group was delivered by unprotected perineal method, and the control group was delivered by traditional perineal method. The perineal laceration, perineal incision rate, perineal intact rate, time of the second stage of labor,2h postpartum hemorrhage, and labor pain were compared between the two groups. Results The moderate and severe lacerations in the observation group were lighter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The perineal lateral resection rate in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The perineum intact rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the second stage of labor and the control group(P>0.05).The 2h postpartum hemorrhage in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The middle and severe pain in the observation group was lighter than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Unprotected perineal delivery can reduce perineal laceration, reduce the rate of perineal lateral resection, reduce postpartum hemorrhage, and promote natural birth.
