Professor Meng Yong has been engaged in the treatment of respiratory diseases for a host of years and has accumulated rich clinical experience. He believes that idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis(IPF) often manifests as zheng qi deficiency,especially deficiency of Qi and Yin, and these patients’ clinical symptoms have achieved satisfactory results by supplementing qi and nourishing yin.
