本文对新版行业标准QB/T 2551—2021《造纸机械用铸铁烘缸》中有关灰铸铁材料应用的安全性、铸造残余应力消除方法和技术要求,以及分别采用热处理工艺和采用铸模随型冷却工艺时操作参数的选取做了较为详细的说明,便于标准使用者准确理解有关标准条款的核心内容,对于铸铁烘缸的设计、制造、检验和验收等,具有指导意义,另对其他领域的大型灰铸铁铸件的生产和应用,也具有一定参考价值。

This paper provided a detailed explanation for the safety of the application of gray cast iron materials,the methods of and technical requirements for eliminating casting residual stress and the selection of the operating parameters of adopting heat treatment process and mold cooling process stipulated in the new edition of Trade Standards QB/T 2551—2021 Cast Iron Dryers Used in Paper Machinery.It aimed to help the users of the standards to understand accurately the core content of relevant standard terms in the hope that it would guide the design,manufacture,inspection and acceptance of cast iron dryers,and offers some reference to the production and application of large gray iron castings in other realms.
