民族药,指少数民族使用的、以本民族传统医药理论和实践为指导的药物。我国是多民族国家,各民族在与疾病抗争、维系民族生存繁衍的过程中,创立了具有本民族特色的医药体系,民族药在其中发挥了重要作用。但是,民族药研究基础薄弱,药材基原混乱,成为制约民族药标准发展的瓶颈,现有民族药国家标准不够完善,各地民族药标准参差不齐。针对上述问题,中国食品药品检定研究院中药民族药检定所(以下简称"中药所")于2012年成立民族药科室,在全国药检系统搭建民族药质控研究技术平台。自2013年起,中药所牵头组织策划13个省、自治区药检院所合作,针对民族药质量工作家底不清、基原混乱等问题进行全面梳理,积极促进了民族药的现代化和标准化发展。

The medicine used by minority nationalities and guided by the theory and practice of their traditional medicine is called ethnomedicine.China is a multi-nationality country.In the process of fighting against diseases,many minority nationalities have established a medical system with their own characteristics which played an important role.However,the research foundation of ethnomedicine is weak,and the botanical source of medicinal materials is confused.
