Institute of Education of Xiamen University has a leading position in the research of higher education in China.It has realized the great responsibility in studying the opinions on strengthening the research work of education science in the new era issued by the Ministry of Education,and realized that there are still many deficiencies in the development of the discipline.Through offering advice and suggestions actively,a new direction has been established for higher education research in the future.
