Improving the Mechanism of Interest Coordination: the Key to the Development of Regional Integration in the Yangtze River Delta

2018年11月,习近平总书记在首届中国国际进口博览会开幕式上宣布,"为了更好发挥上海等地区在对外开放中的重要作用,决定将支持长江三角洲区域一体化发展并上升为国家战略。"这一战略定位不仅赋予长三角区域在新时期的新使命,也表明长三角区域在经济领域走向全方位一体化建设。长三角区域一体化始动于1982年,经过30多年的探索与实践,无论是在一体化推进机制、还是基础设施互通互联、产业分工协同等方面都取得了令人瞩目的进展,但由于受到各种因素的影响,长三角地区离一体化的最终目标还存在很大的差距。

In November 2018,General Secretary Xi Jinping announced at the opening ceremony of the first China International Import Expo,"in order to better play the important role of Shanghai and other regions in opening up,we decided to support the development of Yangtze River Delta regional integration and upgrade it into a national strategy."This strategic orientation not only endows the Yangtze River Delta region with a new mission in the new era,but also shows that the Yangtze River Delta region is moving towards an all-round integrated construction in the economic field.The regional integration of the Yangtze River Delta started in 1982.After more than 30 years of exploration and practice,it has made great progress in the promotion mechanism of integration,infrastructure interconnection,industrial division and coordination.However,due to various factors,the Yangtze River Delta is still far from the goal of integration.This article mainly aims at how to promote the integration development of the Yangtze River Delta,and discusses some superficial understanding.
