Sixty-five years ago,China and Egypt announced the establishment of diplomatic relations.Egypt was the first African and Arab country to establish diplomatic relations with New China,making historic contributions to the establishment and development of diplomatic ties between New China and developing countries.China and Egypt are both countries with ancient civilizations in the world.The two countries have a long history of friendly exchanges,have similar historical experiences and face common development tasks.The establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Egypt is an event of historic significance,which has exerted an important influence on thepolitical,economic and cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.Over the past 65 years,no matter how the international landscape has changed,China and Egypt have always understood and respected each other,trusted and supported each other.They have been each other’s trustworthy friends,partners and brothers.China-Egypt relations are the pioneering example for building a China-Arab and China-Africa community with a shared future.At the same time,the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries has a“demonstrative effect,”which has played a positive role in promoting the establishment of diplomatic relations and the deepening of friendly cooperation between China and African,Arab countries and developing countries at large.
