Standardization Ushers Nuclear Insurance Risk Management in a New Era

保险行业标准建设将助力保险业高质量发展。核保险作为财产保险重要险种之一,为国家重要基础核电行业提供专业保险保障和支撑。2019年中国保险行业协会发布的《核保险风险评估工作指引》(中英版)填了国内外核保险领域的标准空白。按保险行业规划,后续还将成系统、成体系重点推出系列配套的核保险风险评估技术标准。该系列标准的出台将有力的推动核保险风险管理走向科学化、规范化,增强保险与核能行业之间风险管理共识,进而提高保险效能、提升核风险保障能力。

The standards construction in insurance industry will help promote its high-quality development.As one important type of property insurance,nuclear insurance provides professional insurance protection and support for the country’s important fundamental nuclear power industry.The Risk Assessment Guideline for Nuclear Insurance issued by Insurance Association of China in 2019 filled the standards gap in the nuclear insurance field.According to the planning of insurance industry,a series of supporting technical standards on nuclear insurance risk assessment will be launched systematically.Their release will effectively make nuclear insurance risk management more scientific and standardized,enhance the risk management consensus between the insurance and nuclear energy industries,and thus improve nuclear insurance efficiency and capabilities.
