摘要
议论文是学术英语写作中的一种常用体裁。议论文写作能力的发展可提升学生的批判性思维与沟通交流能力。在议论文写作中,论据是影响论证质量的关键因素,有效的论据使用可增强论证的说服力。因此,论据使用应作为英语议论文写作教学中的重要内容。本文系统回顾了国内外与论据使用相关的文献,从论据的使用意识、质量评估和整合融入三个方面对论据使用的研究与教学进行讨论,梳理和归纳其研究聚焦、教学方法以及结果成效等内容,以期为我国英语议论文写作教学的课程设计与课堂实施提供启示和建议。
Argumentative writing is an important genre in academic English writing.Developing the ability to write argumentative essays can enhance students’critical thinking and communication skills.In argumentative writing,evidence is a key factor that determines the quality of argumentation,and effective use of evidence contributes to building strong arguments.Thus,evidence use should be an important component of argumentative writing instruction.This paper reviews relevant literature on evidence use,and discusses this topic from three perspectives:raising awareness of evidence use,evaluating evidence quality,and integrating evidence into writing.It synthesizes the research focus,teaching methods,and learning results,aiming to provide practical suggestions for instructional design and classroom implementation in teaching English argumentative writing.
